At the Embassy of Serbia in Rome, in cooperation with the Dante Alighieri Association from Vranje, a memorial photography exhibition titled "Italy as You Haven’t Seen It Yet” was opened.

The exhibition features photographs by Serbian architect and artist Nemanja Bogdanović, who passed away in 2021.

The display includes 30 photographs from 20 different UNESCO World Heritage sites, captured by Bogdanović during his travels across Italy.

In her opening address, Ambassador Mirjana Jeremić welcomed the attendees and expressed particular satisfaction with the opening of the exhibition and the commemoration of a young and talented architect. She emphasized the Embassy’s support for Serbian artists in Italy, as well as for all initiatives aimed at promoting Serbian culture and strengthening cooperation between Serbia and Italy.

Remarks were also given by Nemanja’s mother, Snežana Bogdanović, and the president of the Dante Alighieri Association from Vranje, Gaetano Paolilo. They expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the realization of the exhibition in Rome and briefly presented the bilingual monograph “Italy as You Haven’t Seen It Yet”, published by the “Sveti Sava” National Library with support from the Municipality of Aranđelovac and the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade.

Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a musical performance by Italian pianist Prof. Olimpia di Mambro, as well as a poetry reading dedicated to the young artist, performed by Dr. Mila Mihajlović.
